CHAPTER SIX

IDEN

Iden could not believe the vision that met him in the semi crowded bar on first swivelling gently down to earth. He had waited around for hours bored on feeling a pull to the place since arrival. It must be where she were.

His one.

Surely?

He had sat there and had to move as he was nearly sat on. He watched with interest a fight over a woman. A disagreement over money.

Later on, as he grew weary a group of woman in their late twenties possibly older came cluttering into the bar noisily drawing the surrounding single males gazes like hawks, the usual woman that vacated bars like this one - loud, silly and chattering on about work, make -up and what not.

A dark-skinned curvy woman lifted a hand to summon the busy barman who looked like he would rather amputate his own legs with a hack saw then be there at his current place of work.

A tall blonde built like a model who were slim but slightly curved accompanied her.

A smaller but thin brunette hiding a bottle of whisky in her bag- heck Ashley would suit someone like her, he chuckled quietly so that no one could hear!

After all, laughing loudly with a more then mad chuckle when no one could see you, was probably what had led to all the ghost investigations that had taken place over the human world.

And then there were simply – her. It must be.

Wow.

She did not notice him so at first for a while even though they should have been drawn together like simple magnets. He stood there nervously twitching his fingers together, flexing his arms. Trying to stay in one position nervously and not grab her and run!

And instead, so unsure of what to do, what to say or how to act, because heck – no one on earth except earth living vamps could even see him in this bar or elsewhere besides that. Even a vampires mate on earth would not be able to see him except for his own destined one.

Her. His Elfina.

He could not drink either for they would only see a floating whisky glass at an empty table. And all the screams would put him off his drink that he wanted to savour! Plus, he could hardly recommend his own clan to stay away from human activities, to remain on the down low then to go off gallivanting into a bar himself to get merry and slightly wasted!

Now, now it did not bother him the fact that no one could see him there. He could be childish and pull stupid faces at unsuspecting customers, pee down an alley with his large cock and his pert bum out and not fear being disturbed or watched by those in long anoraks with a hand on their own one.

He could stand right near someone without looking like a creep and they could only feel him breathe, not see him. And to Knick their greasy chips and battered sausage when they turned their back and when there was no one else in view.
